iPod touch 1st gen iPod Touch Wifi help

I just inherited a first gen iPod touch and restored it. I also have a 3rd gen ipod touch and it is connecting to my network but the first gen isn't. It connected once today for 2 minutes but didn't actually get on the internet. Now it wont even see any networks and Im right next to the router. I haven't tried any other networks and I will try tomorrow but Im not sure what to do or whats going on. Oh and I shut it down a few times and force shut down and still nothing 🙁 Let me know if you have a suggestion! 😕

Can you tell us more about your network? Such as brand and model of router, type of encryption, is MAC filtering enabled, etc.
