Hey guys, I've got a first gen Unibody MBP (one of the 15" 2.4Ghz).

Will this RAM work for it? It's got stock 2GB, but I'm looking to upgrade that to at least 4GB. Also, is 4GB (2x2GB) the limit for these models? I seem to remember reading something a while back about 2x4GB sticks not working in it.

    Sweet, thanks.

So if I buy an 8GB module (2x4GB), will it work? Like will it read it as 6GB?

That will not work, you will need a 2GB and a 4GB.

THe official limit is 4GB but they can read 8GB but get unstable when using all 8GB. 6GB is the unofficial limit and is stable.

    Those look fine to me.
