Get some more memory, maybe a 7200 RPM hard drive. But there is not much more you can do than that.

About the only thing worth the money or easily done besides RAM is a larger HD. They came stock pretty limited to todays standards.

Toss the optical and use a MCE Optibay for 2nd hard disk
