1st Mac ever

Just bought my first mac ever. Picked up a santa rosa blackbook on wednesday at the nearest apple store. Upgraded the ram too.

Taken a bit to get used to everything coming from PCs my whole life but I've really been enjoying it. Should've switched long ago.

This forum has been really helpful. I knew what I wanted/needed so I walked into the store and was out in under 10 minutes.

Congrats! I switched to Mac 2 Weeks ago as well! It's great how I can use windows for games and leopard for school work. =) I have the lowest trim macbook. Which trim level did you get?

Congratulations! My Macbook has just been ordered (earlier than expected ;]) and should be on my doorstep Monday or Tuesday! Hope you have a great experience. Even sitting on here on this old Powerbook that isn't mine, I know I am! Can't wait 😀:apple:
 
Just wanted to say welcome!

It's not my business or anything but if you just purchased your new MB 2 days ago, I would say call Apple and see if they'll give you some money back since there's BF deals on MB.

Regardless, I hope you're enjoying your new computer.
 
I would've waited for the deals on friday but I had a student discount to use and figured i'd use it cause I'm graduating in less than a month.
