I know its not available yet and we aren't that close. But I'd like to hear from the community when you'd think this would be. When can we see 1tb ssd in a laptop without taking out another mortgage and being commercially available?

Without taking out another mortgage? At least a year from now, probably more like two.

A long time from now. That's be a dent in anyone's wallet. You rarely see a 1TB HDD in laptops yet.

I'd say by the end of the year. We already have a 512GB SSD.

I'd say two years from now it will be available at an affordable price.
