Looking through some apps and their reviews, I noticed that someone said that the iPod Touch users may have to wait till sometime in early November for the 2.0 to be available... Does this assumption have a basis? Thanks in advance for any answers.

I read the November thing as well but I can't find where. I'm sure it wasn't referring to 2.0, it was something like the ex-US google local search/Loopt/functionality in a specific app.
I will personally strangle Steve jobs if apple does that, and take all those ****ing black turtlenecks he wears all the time 🙂
