2.0 with extra ram or 2.4 no extra ram?

If you cant have the 2.4 with extra ram, I'd say go for the 2.0 with extra ram. It'll be much better than the base 2.4 , esp if you use multiple programs at once. Cheers.

I would say go with 2.4 that gives you the option to upgrade later when you have more money. You can always update your ram but not your processor.

So for long term glory I say 2.4!

2.4 as has been said you can add RAM later. Leopard runs ok on 2 GB RAM.
