2.2 vs 2.4 SR heat question

Quick question: I was wondering if the 2.4 SR gets hotter than the 2.2. SR because the machine is faster?

I believe as long as the operating voltages for the chips is the same, the heat output shouldn't change. Don't quote me on that though, thats from my experience with overclocking my desktop.
