Hey...

If anyone could help would be appreciated...

I brought a mac mini about 2 months ago (gutted) however sold it for more then i paid :D WIN WIN

So am going to order a new one today... I pretty much only use it for playing 1080p and 3D content from my connected drobo, using it as a music/picture server... However in the future it'll probably get used more as a computer...

My old mac mini would handle around 80% of the stuff i threw at it (2.4ghz, 8GB RAM)

I just want to know if there is a big difference between the specs or not? More so between the graphics card then the processors. £170 to me isnt a massive difference... But would like some more expert opinions...

Thanks Again...

Since the graphics card cant be upgraded, do yourself a favor and pick up the higher end model, it is much more "future-proof":)

Can the AMD be pulled out and easily replaced in the future, should the GPU go bad, like our Core Duo iMac GPU?

Is that what dedicated means or just that it has its own ram but is still soldered to the mother board and not easily replaced?

I'm assuming you mean the AMD is upgradeable as in it plugs into a socket and can be easily replaced/upgraded?

My apologies for being ignorant about the integrated/dedicated thing. I understand the dedicated has its own ram but wasn't sure if it's a pullout and replace item in the 2.5 Mini.

I'm not sure where you're going with re-quoting me but not saying anything else?
