2.4 ghz processor in macbook vs The processor in the bas MBP?

are the processors in the 2.4ghz macbook and 2.4ghz macbook pro the same? as in, do they have the same size of L2 cache? I know the 2.53ghz and up use 6mb of L2 Cache, but does the 2.4 in the base pro use 3mb, as is the case with the macbook, or 6mb?

Yes, you are correct about the cache.

If you look at MacWorld's benchmarks, the 2.4 MB is pretty much on par with the 2.4 MBP in every test they did.
