2.5 GBE USB-C Ethernet Adapter reliable?

I'm thinking of getting a 2.5GBE USB-C Ethernet Adapter from a company like Belkin or UGREEN for my Mac Mini.

Has anyone tried one of these? Do they work well?

As far as I understood, the D-Link Dongle works the best?

But my question would be, if it works on a 2GBit Fibre connection without any performance isses/ interruptions?

I have 3 of these RTL 2.5 USB adapters, each with a different chip rev. Even the "bad" 1st gen chip seems to be fine on my 2012 mini. The latest rev seems "okay" on my M1 Air, but I do occasionally see odd pauses and suspect there's still an issue.
If you are asking whether you should order an M4 mini with the 10Gbit port upgrade, I am.

I have this one I use with my M3 Max 16" MBP. No issues, and will probs get the same for my mac mini.
