This guy on Craigslist is selling a Unibody White Macbook.
(Well, not to me anymore.)
He was going to sell it to me for 600, "brand new"
and I asked that it was a 2.4Ghz, because he said it was the latest model.
He said "2.6"
and then when we made the arrangements, I'm like.
"Are you sure it's not 2.4?
And he gets aggravated saying No man, it's 2.6 I told you.

blah blah blah.

There is no, and has never been no 2.6GHz Unibody Macbook, right?

the reason I was giving this guy so much grief is because he's in downtown Chicago, and I'm not getting jumped.

Take a few friends with you and leave the money in your locked car... Could be a good deal.

he won't sell it to me anymore.
he thought i was playing games with him or something,
since i told him i was on my way (assuming i'd just swing by an ATM)
but then the ATM wouldn't let me take any more than 400 out.
so i told him i'd like to meet him at a bank, not remembering it was sunday.
then i told him i was stopping by my house and then coming. and he was like, sorry joe, i'm good. not up for mind games, you said you were on your way, la la la.

and also, the macbook was opened, but new. on his ad he says he "opened it to take pictures of it"

and then i texted him saying "oh yeah, yours was the open one"
and he got all offended like "why would it be open man get on man that's bs"

i'm thinking that "get on man" is a typo or something, but that doesn't add up either way.

and he insisted i came to the city. and he was pretty quick to drop the price to 600.
so, i'm not taking that chance.
