2.80 vs 3.06 GHz

    Hi guys!

    do you think there is any difference between these two processors for the 15"?

    I am going to use it for calculation, math, statistics... spss, endless pivot tables...

    What do you think?

    if you got the ends (cash) then get the 3.06.

    mathematica, sams, and logger pro, are several of the most demanding statistic and mathematic programs i know. they run fine on my 2.4 ub macbook, so I have no doubt either a 2.8 or a 3.06 will suffice.

    There won't be any noticeable difference. Get the 2.8 and upgrade the RAM.

    i gotta feeling there will be nothing but newbie threads like this for months. Its the same predicament as 2.2 vs. 2.4 as so on. Their gonna need to split up the forums a little. This ones gonna melt down.
