2.93 or 3.06 GHz which one to choose?

Hi. I'm a composer using Logic Studio. I'm planning on buying the new Imac but i m still hesitating between the 2.93 and 3.06 GHz. Is there a major difference between both? Is it worth 160 euros to upgrade to 3.06 or is the 2.93 enough? Is there a big difference?

My guess is 160 euros for 130 MHz extra will not be noticable. So no, if I were you I wouldn't go for the 3.06, it's too overpriced. Go with the 2.93 is my advice.

That's why i thought!!
I decided to put the money on the ATI instead.....
but my main problem is that Logic studio demands a lot of CPU so that s why i m wondering if the 2.93 would be enough to run Logic smoothly at medium- full capacity)

I would say you'll hardly notice the difference in the core speed UNLESS the 3.06 is a different revision of the C2D and has more L2 cache or something

I mean I do have the money to get the 3.06 but was just wondering if i would feel any difference. Seems you're not convinced lol
