2-factor authorization - every 30 days

Sooo ... why the required re-authorization with 2-factor every 30 days? Never experienced this on any other site and, to be honest, I think it is an unnecessary (first world) inconvenience ...

Google requires 2-factor re-authorization every 30 days as well. I figured it's just standard procedure.

Thanks for the answer. I didn't know this – when using my gmail account with 2-factor I am never asked again except I specifically log out and in again, but mabye they handle it differently as only an authentificator with non-gmail accounts ...
