2 Graphics Card Question

Hello,
I have an early 2008 Mac Pro. I wanted to upgrade the video card, but had 2 questions.

1. Is the 4850 the best card to get right now? This card was announced a long time ago and nothing new seems to be coming out anytime soon. I don't want to buy this card and have a new card announced soon after.

2. The ATi has one display port and one DVI. Is there a card with 2 display ports?

you mean 4870, not 4850.

there is no card yet with 2 displayports.


5870 is a few months away.
