My 8800GT died on me the other night, and I'm looking to make an upgrade to my 1,1 Mac Pro, and would like to slap in a 6870.
I've read all I can, and have decided that this is probably the best card I can get for now, and seems almost fully supported in OSX without any kind of flash.
My question is, however, can I have the 7300 that came with the Mac Pro in an 8x slot and have OSX use that, and allow windows to use the 6870 in a 16x slot for games and such?
Or will OSX use whatever is in the 16x?
