2 Hard Drives in Finder?

I just set up Time Machine on my new core duo imac (20" latest rev with the better graphics card). I looked in on time machine and the finder and noticed that there are 2 instances of "Macintosh HD" in both apps. There is still only one "Macintosh HD" on the desktop. What have I done?

Leopard bug. Cosmetic only as far as I can tell. Has nothing to do with time machine. It happens to me and I've never set up time machine.

Cool-- thanks very much. Apologies again for putting this in the Apple TV thread-- although I'm having such a good time with my new imac I'm thinking about buying an apple tv....
