1. Im looking into getting some speakers for my iMac, its the late 2010 model. Do you have any suggestions?

2. I have a 2.5 TB External hard drive, is there a way that i can get all me dl and stuff to go directly to the external harddrive and not the internal as id like to keep the internal clean and clear

I love my minimal JBL Creatures. They are small put pack a really decent punch, with a sub-woofer.

You could move the home folder to the external HD or just set downloads to go to the external (Safari > Preferences > General > Downloads).
