I recently came across a bunch of these charging cables on Amazon that are 2-in-1 / 3-in-1 for Apple Watch and iPhone. Not sure if I'm late to the party on this or what but I was completely unaware of this class of products and think they would be super convenient for travel but as usual the sellers and reviews seem suspect. Just wondering if anybody here has had any personal experience with any of these and can say one way or the other.

Here are some examples, some even claim to be MFi certified:

That's... interesting. Nope, I've never seen anything like these before. Could run the reviews through fakespot to see how they fare. I rarely plug my phone in these days, as I've got Anker PowerWave wireless charger stands at home and work (and a Nightstand at home for my watch, and a spare charging puck in the car "just in case").

Me either, tempted to buy a few and test.

I use a magnetic phone mount in my car nearly full-time so wireless charging bases are pretty much out. The metal plates I have to keep in the phone case prevent wireless chargers from working (at least all the ones I've tested). If theres an alternative option I'd love to know! Besides, if one of these actually works well its a much more travel option than a bunch of wireless chargers or otherwise.

Intersting, never seen these either, although I'v got the Apple 18W USB-C charger, and also the Anker PD1 USB-C charger now, and went all in with USB-C cables.

Tempted though as have USB-C to USB-A converters.

Also after searching found a 3 in 1!!

Ha, that one is pretty funny. I think I prefer the simplicity of the ones with an in-line watch charger with a single lightning connector then coming out the other side of it.

Still wondering if anybody else has tried these. Maybe I should just jump in the water first...

Alternative option (I transitioned from the traditional magnet mount to this last year and love it):
