I just ordered my sport watch online...expected shipping is July :...)

I have a work iphone6 and a personal iphone 6 plus. Both are signed into the same iCloud account. About the only thing I'm not sharing between the two is text Messages.

I'm curious about how the 3 devices will interact? Is it safe to assume that the Apple Watch is just tied phone number? Or could they be linked via iCloud.

Another thought...how easy is it to switch phones? If I want to use the watch with my personal phone on the weekends, is it an easy switch?

Thanks

The watch is only linked to 1 phone. If you want to link to another phone, you'll have to wipe out all data on the watch and pair it once again with the other phone.

Not to doubt you, but this just doesn't seem very "Apple" like

No that's actually very apple like.

Look at how the iPhone works when you want to change which computer you are syncing to.
