forgive me if this is a repeate thread but

I have a large music collection on my computer (34 gigs) and my dad just got an ipod. Obviouslly he isn't going to want my rap music and death metal but he showed interest in my classic rock etc...

is there anyway he can pick and chose what music he wants from my libary to put on his ipod

again sorry of this is a repeat

South Mississippi y'all, near the water!
Yes, you can create a playlist for his iPod only. Or, you can select which songs you want his iPod to sync with. OR, you can manually manage his iPod.

The first time you plug the iPod in, it will ask you to name the iPod and how you want to manage its contents. I'm managing a 5G, a 4G, a Nano, and a Shuffle on one iTunes Library.

Also, you can opt to only update checked songs. Unchecking songs will mean they don't get sent to the iPod. Personally I find iSaint's method much cleaner though. :)
