iPod 2 ipods, one comp?

I'm about to set up my mom's iPod Nano using my brother's intel Mac Mini. I have yet to plug in the nano, but i'm hoping that we won't run into any issues with ipod-computer pairing (my bro has an ipod for his account) as long as we use a separate account on the computer. Is this a safe assumption, or do i hafta do something special to add this iPod.

i have had up to 3 different iPods on my computer at the same time.

And have used a total of 6 ipods on my computer

I have yet to have a problem. In iTunes preferences there is a drop down in the iPod preference if you have more than one connected at the same time
