I have been trying to use this guide to figure out how to sync my laptop itunes (macbook pro) with my new iMac Desktop.
THIS IS THE GUIDE

My HUGE issue is that it keeps saying that the host server name is wrong. I typed EXACTLY as it said like this
rsync -av --force --delete --size-only ~/Music/iTunes /Volumes/i shmack/Music

First it says that the file VOLUMES is not found.

So then i tried this command:
HTML:
rsync --progress --recursive --perms --times \
--size-only --whole-file --rsh=ssh --exclude='.*' \
--dry-run Music/iTunes/ Desktopi shmack.local:Music/iTunes

but the issue is that stupid SPACE.. it says that "shmack" does not exist.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

2 iTunes simultaneously

Is there a way to have two different installations of iTunes on an XP PC (I know it's a mac forum, but you guys are the experts...) that will run simultaneously? Accessing different libraries and organizing the files independently of each other, etc. Is this possible?
Thanks... :)
