2 light spots above the earpiece

I'm just wondering if, when you put your iPhone in direct light you see 2 little light spots one circle and one rectangle above the speaker earpiece.

If so, what are they for?

As stated MANY times before on these forums, those are the ambient light sensor and the proximity sensor for the screen. Everyone has those...

Come on, don't make him believe that there's something wrong with his phone when there isn't. As brn2prgrm said, that is the ambient light sensor.
