Hey guys,

I've been given a few Apple computers.
Are they worth much at all?

2013 Mac Pro
3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5
64GB 1866 MHz DDR3
AMD FirePro D500 3GB
2TB HDD
macOS Monterey

MacPro
2010 -2012
3.2 GHz 4-Core 8-Thread Xeon W3565
16GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
1 TB HDD
Windows 10

I've also got a question here.

Do they have any value if I decide to sell them?

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks!

Cash? Not really. More novelty/nostalgia items at this point. I personally like keeping old systems around in case you need some obscure software for something.

If they are in good working shape they will honestly be worth more in 20 years lol.

I kept a few plastic iMac and PowerMacs in storage for this reason.

M4 MacMini - 4 W idle - 65 W max
M4 Max MacStudio - 6 W idle - 145 W max
MacPro 2013 - 43 W idle - 205 W max
MacPro 2010 - 125 W idle 😳 - 218 W max

When I replaced my MacPro 2010 with a M1 MacMini my power bill came down almost 10%.

Good hobbyist machines. 6 years ago I modernized a 2012, 12 core Mac Pro with OCLP, Radeon RX 580, updated WiFi/BT and NVME storage. Made it into a three-monitor system primarily for Windows gaming and VM. Used it for over a year before parting it out and selling it all off. Fun project.
