Hello All,
Has anyone got any advice on this please ?
I've for 2 LG Thunderbird monitors connected to my late 2014 Macbook Pro. There are times that I can get them both nicely running at 2560 x 1440, however the 2nd monitor frequently drops down to 1080p only which isn't ideal.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how to resolve this please ? When it happens, even going into the settings doesn't allow me to 'up' it.
I've just switched the primary monitor around (it's always the secondary monitor that drops resolution) to see if it's the physical monitor or whether it's the Mac reducing the secondary monitor resolution automatically.
My understanding from reading around was the MacBook Pro should be able to run 2 monitors at 2560 x 1440.
The MacBook display is off as I'm using it in clam mode.
Thanks all.
