I have two iPhones (mini and max). I have a apple watch series 6 with cellular turned on, paired to the 12max. I have not turned on the mini yet.. What should I expect from the watch. Will i be able to keep cellular if I switch sim to the mini? Or will it require me to repair watch each time I switch phones? Anyone tried this combo scenario before?

Watch can only be paired to a single iPhone. So I would assume it would require you to unpair and then re-pair it to the other watch.

This is correct. I went back and forth between a 11 pro and 11 pro max last year and always had to unpair and repair. Would be a great feature if you could.

I wonder how it works if you have 2 lines on your phone, but only get cellular line for one of them. My backup line, just moved to the iPhone 12 Pro, may support the Watch at some point this year. I'm hoping that it doesn't confuse things for my watch to be cellular on only 1. I didn't want the case of having the 2 lines on different phones, and having to re-pair depending on which phone I was using.

Would be really nice if Apple would at least let you manage your watch backups. Then switching back and forth would be a lot easier. Now it's hit or miss.
