2 Problems

I somebody can give me a hint on how to solve following problems:

Out of the "blue" following happend to my new MacBook Pro Core2

I can no longer change user accounts, when I switch to another account the other user come up but the system stalls and the only way to get back is to restart. Have checked with my IMac and the setting is exactly the same, only different is there is no problems on the IMac

Second problem happened i guess at the same time, and that is the external microphone port is not working. The mic i use has no problem and work on my other Macs.

All was working flawlessly until yesterday and no software update or adjustment was done.

Somebody have an idea?

What sort of third party hardware (including RAM) do you have? This is a pretty random problem and you might be better just taking it straight to Apple (assuming it' not a third party hardware issue). 😱
