I have two problems with my iphone.

1) Every time I plug it into my mac, iphoto pops up. How do I stop this from happening??? I can't find the option to stop it from popping up.

2) When I want to make or receive a call the part where you put your ear doesn't work. Only speaker phone works. I just got the thing and it was working fine the other day. Now its jacked up. Any ideas how to fix it or should I take it in? I haven't dropped it, I don't turn the volume all the way up, but since I can't hear anything lately I've turned it up all the way and there's still no sound.

Thanks

1. If you have taken pictures with the iPhone camera and you still have them in the camera application, iPhoto will always open up when you connect the iPhone. Simply download the images to iPhoto and delete them from your phone, and it will stop.

2. I've read somewhere then if you use your headphones sometimes iPhone "forgets" that you have pulled the jack out. A workaround is to plug and unplug the headphones 10 times and it should work.
