Hello. Today, the 18th of May, my 1 year of AppleCare warranty ends. My question is, can I still extend my AppleCare the same day when the free one ends?

Also, when I got my (2010) 17" Macbook Pro last year, it made awfully loud noises. I thought it was the 7200-rpm HDD, but my friend's MBP with the same HDD doesn't make noises at all, so I found out that the noise came from the lower-left fan. How much do Apple charge for fixing this? It's in situations like this I need AppleCare..

    Thanks in advance

You can buy the AppleCare Protection Plan anytime as long as your computer is still covered by the original Apple Warranty. Check here to make sure it's still covered: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do
