1.) Does the new screen design of the latest iMac eliminate the old problem of dust getting behind the outer glass?
2.) Is OSX Mavericks going to cost money?

1) Yes
2) Depends on whether you get it with a new iMac or later, I guess.

Mavericks won't be free unless you might've just bought a new Mac within 30 days or so of it coming out. I'd imagine it'll stick to the $19.99 price tag of Mountain Lion.
