Well it has been about 2 weeks since I got my first generation iPad Pro 9.7, and the more I use it the more I like it. In fact I have not touched my laptop in 2 weeks and don’t miss carrying that heavy HP windows laptop around at all. My iPad does everything I want it to do and probably can do much more. I can even print documents from my wireless printer as well.

Same. I recently bought the apple ipad keyboard and I haven’t used my laptop in weeks. It’s pretty great. My next plan is to buy the larger iPad Pro when they come out with a refresh. I’m going to keep my laptop for Quicken, but I won’t be using it often, for sure.

I just saw someone with the Smart Keyboard and it looks really cool, I think I may have to get one.

Having recently bought a 12.9 second generation iPP, I’m neary in the same ownership time window. Works fantastic and also looks new. Having the larger screen makes using anything smaller feel ”cramped”.

Now in the hunt for a Smart Keyboard for mine and I have a challenge ahead.

I rarely use my MBA. I only turned it on to update the software. Otherwise it’s been months.

Nice.
My iPad Pro is my daily driver for most things, so I can understand what you are saying.
TBH I’m not entirely convinced you bought the right model, with an iPad Pro 9.7, mainly because of the only 2 Gb of RAM (could be a problem in 1 year or 2).

I wanted to get my boyfriend one as well, because he got me my iPhone XR product red last year for Christmas last year. We both wanted the iPad Pro 12.9 inch model with cellular, and well they are too much to buy new at Apple without actually going to my job, and I cannot concentrate at a job for more than a minute or 2 it was impossible. I found a store in Chicago that had 10.5 inch iPad Pro advertised but were sold out, they only had one 12.9 inch one and it was WiFi only, and I got both 9.7 inch pro’s with cellular for $600 total, and paying cash, didn’t have to pay the Illinois, Chicago and cook county sales tax on it.

My boyfriend is trying to get me to go to the doctor to get the prescription for my severe adhd so I can function at a job, but I won’t do that just for myself, I took it before and it made me be able to function at a job, and be less hyper and Sleep more than an hour tops a night, but it caused other undesired effects as well, so I won’t do it just for myself.

yeah, I paid $600 for the two of them total. They are supposed to be refurbished by that store, they look brand new and the batteries last all day, I average about 6 hours of use a day and still have like 35% left when I plug it in for charging. They also got glass screen protectors put on included in the price.

That’s a great deal either way!
Refurbished : yes
Used : not so much (it depends on the battery health mostly).

It would be interesting to check battery age.
If you have a Mac at disposal you can check with a free tool like Coconutbattery. It would tell you number of recharge cycles and health of the battery.

I just plugged my iPad Pro in to my iMac and it shows 16 cycles on the battery so they must be new batteries.

It’s an Apple product so that’s expected.
