Hello gurus

I've been looking around and couldn't find an answer to my question.

(this question applies only for Windows on Boot Camp)

What's the benefit of having 2 x 5770 ATI cards in CorssFire and using only 1 monitor? Will I see faster speeds in Boot Camp games? or is it 2 x 5770 only when connecting 2+ monitors?

Please help me I'm confused here...

Thank you

This will only benefit you if you're using multiple monitors where each monitor requires a large amount of VRAM.

You might be able to use the cards in Crossfire in Windows, but not in OS X.

Not much, in theory and some times in real tests, 2 Crossfired 5770 yield the performance of a slight underclocked HD5870 or a stock clocked HD5850. So it practicality, you'd be better off scoring an HD5870.
