Ugh...I hate these supply constraints...every release it's the same thing over and over...like a broken record...it takes 2-3 months to get the supply flowing properly and in 9 months they announce the "best NEW iPhone" making your current iPhone "obsolete".
You can't innovate in 1 year...you can't get the proper amount of supply every September so why not focus 1.5 years on R&D and 0.5 on making sure you have enough product when you open the sales pipeline. It's like getting people hooked on coke and saying it will take another 3 months to assemble enough products to satisfy these hungry monsters we've become for all things iPhone.
