I have a 20" aluminum iMac running OS X 10.5(leopard) and would like to add an additional display to it. But what i want to do mainly is use the additional monitor for use with my Xbox 360 (my tv is way to small to use for xbox) - Is it possible? How would i connect the two?

Also, once i get it all hooked up, how would it appear on the monitor? (meaning like would the graphics from the xbox be in like a window or something?)

Assume i dont know anything as far as adding an additional display goes. i would think it would be possible, but dont know how to do it.

Thanks for your help! :)

To connect an external monitor to the iMac you would need a mini-DVI to DVI or mini-DVI to VGA adapter, depending on the inputs of the monitor.

To get video into the iMac, such as from an Xbox 360, you would need some sort of TV tuner hardware and software. Elgato makes several such devices.

The easiest way would be to get a monitor with multiple inputs. That way you can avoid buying the TV tuner for your Mac and just hook both the Xbox and Mac directly to the monitor. That would most likely be cheaper as well as easier.
