Hi,

I have a late 2007 model 20" iMac that's running Yosemite, the machine it's self runs beautifully but it does occasionally over heat and turn it's self off and I'm wondering if there's anything I could do to help keep that from happening?

Specs;

3GB ram, 2TB HDD, 2.4GHz and ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256mb graphics.

Thanks for any help you can give me :)

The first thing to check would be that the ventilation grills aren't blocked up with fluff and dust - that could easily be the source of your problem.
