I just picked up a pre-owned 20" white iMac from a forum member here. The screen on this computer is sensational. It looks just like my 20" Cinema Display screen I have sitting next to it. It's a shame Apple decided to stop using this screen in the new Macs, there is simply no comparison. I am absolutely thrilled with this computer!

Why not? Isn't this a forum for discussion of Apple products? I thought I would post a comment on something new to me.

The reason is that the old White 20" was a mid range/high end model. The new 20" is the baseline model. For a fair comparison you need to compare it to the white 17" iMac. Or compare the 20" white iMac to the 24" alu iMac.
