Worst:
The fact that I don't have one...er five. :D

Best: I got an ibook!!!

Worst: I hesitated in ordering it.. so it arrived today.

OK, so that may not be Apples best... but hey. I love it :D

Best - getting this PowerBook.

Worst - buying an iPod 2 weeks before a new model was brought out (the new 40 Gb one is now the same price as my 20Gb)

It was a very good year...

Best:
(1) Being able to type this post on an iMac G5! :D

(2) Selling my PeeCee on eBay and getting way more than it was
worth. :)

(3) Buying my 3G iPod in 2003(I know not this year) before everyone had
one. :p

Worst:
(1) Having to beg for 3 months to get an iMac. :(

(2) Trying but failing to get my mom to buy Apple stock before it took
off.

Best:
1. 1.5GHz PowerBook G4s.
2. iPod mini.
3. iMac G5.
4. New Cinema Displays.

Worst:
1. No PowerBook updates after april.
2. No PowerMac G5 3.0 GHz as promised (Steve, do you hear me?).
3. Nvidia FX6800 problems.
4. iPod mini delays for non-US customers.
5. No worldwide iTMS.

Best:
1. Continues to be iTMS
2. iPod
3. iMac G5
4. new Cinema Display

Worst:
Just the items that Apple has not been able to release yet, patience is needed. Now it's 2005 and so we should see many of them.

best: apple store london and being the 13th person to go in there.

worst: being asked by the public if my ibook is an ipod all the time it pisses me off, thats what we get when apple becomes popular.

Good
iBook G4 at $999 with AirPort Extreme
iMac G5 Design and Price
iPod Success
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL and GT DDL Cards

Bad
PowerBook G4 is rapidly aging
Apple Displays too expensive
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra Card does not belong in a high-end computer like the Power Mac G5 -it's ok for iMac G5
AppleWorks being EXTREMELY OUTDATED. Althought that might be fixed during the 2005 Keynote.

Overall
Apple needs to focus more on computers and advertising them too
2005 might be the year of the G5. Although the Dual 2.50 GHz G5 is beaten by Single 3.60 GHz Pentium 4 systems on tests done by C|NET. :(

Good:
30" displays
iPod mini

Bad:
graphics card, or lack thereof
AppleWorks, or lack thereof

Good:
1. iMac G5
2. iPod/iTMS success
3. iBook below $1,000
4. Not having displays with an ADC connector any more
5. iPod and PowerBook/iBook promotion for college students

Bad:
1. Outdated PowerBooks
2. Outdated eMacs
3. Short supplies on high end Power Mac G5
4. Where is a new version of AppleWorks?
5. iPod mini shortage for much of the year
6. Not having an iMac for part of the year

BEST:
1. 92% domination of hard-drive MP3 players.
2. iMac G5.
3. 30" Cinema Display (especially dual configuration)
4. U2 iPod.. this will usher in a new form of promotion. Forget CDs.
5. iTMS in my mother country of Canada.

WORST:
1. iPod photo (too expensive for a niche product)
2. eMac (death to CRT already)
3. No 2-button mouse
4. 256MB RAM on Dual 1.8Ghz G5? (this is the professional line, Apple)
5. PowerMac G5 2.5 shipping delays.

worst:
we hit the wall .. but the others hit the wall harder [ like that matters Steve ]
G5 bugs
LCD problems
Countless special events with countless iPods and countless U2s ..

best ..
