2006 Mac Pro USB Ports: Are all 5 ports the same speed?

Hi,
Can someone confirm for me that ALL of the USB ports on a 2006 MacPro are all USB 2.0 ports? For the fastest transfer speed, does it matter if you plug in a USB device to the front of back of the tower?
