Was wondering if there was a CPU, graphics card 1,1 compatible upgrade list
as i'll be searching through ebay for anything cheap but know there are limitations for what to use for 1,1s.
I've just brought myself a standard August 2006 1,1 apart from a nice 11gb ram. Going to be used as a CAD workhorse, with some rendering/animation, but nothing too hardcore. Main software are Autodesk Alias Automotive 2011 (maybe a stable 09 version too), Rhino, Bunkspeed, Keyshot, Imagestudio.
I would obviously like the top upgrades (2 quad E5345 etc) but they obviously come at a price, so if i can get a modest upgrade cheapo, ill be happy, thus i need a list of what to type into ebay. 😀
