    I have a macbook pro late 2007.

My main reason for buying it was it came with full CS3 suite boxed with key.
This alone is £150 on ebay.

Anyway Im installing 10.11 as i type this.

It has crashed once and I asked it to try again, still going but on first go 25 mins took 1.5 hours!

It seems to be getting pretty hot either side on keyboard and above the esc key and eject key.

It has an aluminium case so this might dissipate some heat.

having not had a large pro before is it normal to get pretty hot?

    Other than this nice machine.

    4GB ram and 500GB HDD.
Has rattle so opened it up has a apple genuine 500GB drive (apple logo on it)

missing few screws on base but cheap to replace via ebay.
Charger is warm but I'd say no more than my 2009 macbook.

Oh no battery with machine at moment.

These guys ran hot from the factory, idling at 70C or so. Your temps are very normal.

They cut CPU power in half with no battery inserted, so stick one in there if you don't want a slow-as-heck computer.
