It will be interesting to see which network gets the higher ratings, or if they'll be roughly equivalent. This will be the first simulcast of an NFL game since Super Bowl I, which both CBS and NBC televised.
I don't think it will matter as all the ratings will go to the NFL Network. It will be interesting to see which network gets the higher ratings, or if they'll be roughly equivalent.

Collinsworth is fine, Gumble not so much.Unfortunately it also means that we're stuck with Gumble and Collinsworth doing the game...

haaha suck on it NFL network.
The Leahy-Specter letter, which also came after attempts by the league to lobby the federal government in November and early December, questions the NFL's justification for restricting the distribution of game programming to cable outlets and the senators urged Goodell to take prompt action to make games more broadly available.
"The NFL appears to be moving incrementally closer to limiting distribution of its programming to subscription television," the senators wrote. "Now that the NFL is adopting strategies to limit distribution of game programming to their own networks, Congress may need to reexamine the need and desirability of their continued exemption from the Nation's antitrust laws."
Never happen. The networks would never go for it.Now, if we can just break the DirecTV monopoly on Sunday Ticket we'll be all set.
money
That is not over the air tho. The networks don't want the cable companies to get the Sunday Ticket because they want people watching the network itself, that is where the Nelson ratings come from. They like that it is a small market. They don't want everyone having access to it. As for March Madness I would bet that only the local station is doing that not national. DirecTV is the only carrier of that.It wouldn't cost anything and they'd be able to get more ad $$$ because games would be available to wider markets.
CBS already does this with march madness. During the first round there's usually up to 4 games on at a time and I get all four on channel 12. Because of the new digital television standard, each channel gets up to 6 sub-channels. So I get a game on 12.1, 12.2, etc.
In that one local market how many people are watching the digital sub channels. Im sure it's not many. Why do you think they promote DirecTV if they let the locals have access to it.err, yeah it is.
Both have as Red Sox fans put it, "bought championships".
Both are dynasties,
Nobody likes the owners.
Im not saying they cheat but plenty of Red Sox fans have said this.
Anyways, big game tonight. Kaczur and Neal are both out for the Pats. O'Callaghan and Hochstein starting instead.
Brady needs 2TDs to break the record, and so does Moss. The team needs 6 points to break the total points in a season record.
NFL Network on one TV, CBS the other.Zioxide, as much as I dislike your team, I feel for you as a game that may make history is hosted by Bryant Gumbel.
So what station is everyone watchin'?
I can't stand the pats radio network, those guys suck.oh why do the worst announcers anywhere on tv have to broadcast this historic game? i hope all the nfl films pieces are all with the pats radio announcers, because this is awful.

Collinsworth isn't bad.double for gumbel and colinsworthless.
