don't buy it!
I don't know that I'd say specifically not to buy it, but you do have to take into account a few considerations:

1. You can buy it, but you immediately have to give it to someone else in exchange for a different watch.

2. Some days it will tell time perfectly, but others it will run slow.

3. It works best if it's in your pocket.

i agree with him, they should have not been eligible for the playoffs. The Pats got caught cheating, and they should have suspended for the playoffs.

I agree with him too, but of course it's only because I can be a grammar nazi at times

Put them on probation; they can't go to no playoff games.

I agree since they can't go to no playoff games, they should be allowed to go to some playoff games, at least until they are beat.

We'll see if there's anything to this:
COWHER NEXT IN WASHINGTON?

In the hours since the resignation of Redskins coach Joe Gibbs, one name has been repeated over and over again as Gibbs' most likely successor: Bill Cowher.

Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post lays out the case for Cowher and says that a source who knows Redskins Vice President of Football Operations Vinny Cerrato well said Cerrato believes the Redskins' next coach will be Cowher. Moreover, if Cowher wants total control of football operations, that would be doable, and Cerrato could move to a consulting role to make room for a coach with more authority.

La Canfora also notes that even if Redskins owner Daniel Snyder wants Cowher, he would need to interview a minority candidate first. La Canfora writes that Redskins defensive coordinator Greg Blache would not want to "be a part of any dog and pony show" and interview for the job if the feeling around Redskins Park is that Cowher will get the job.

At today's Redskins news conference, Snyder said he has not talked to Cowher. He also said he "tried very, very hard" to convince Gibbs to stay.

Anything better than making Brats and crackers with cheese while watching the Green Bay Packers at Lambo? No sir!

Making chili while watching the Cowboys beat the Packers in Dallas. :D

This time, have Eli in the same commercial, but because he thinks like Bubba Gump he sees himself playing in a sand box with a Tonka toy or something and gets sacked.

Except Eli usually manages to run away from the sack, just in the wrong direction. :D

OMG. Nolan hires Mike Martz to be his new offensive co-ordinator.

Since Nolan is going to be on a pretty hot seat since most of the SF media thought he was gone last week, I wonder if Martz is hoping to finagle himself into the inside track to be head coach again. I suspect the lame-duck bit is possibly why guys like Cam Cameron and Billick wouldn't be interested - potentially better offers elsewhere.

Having to like Martz though will stick in the craw after watching him chuckling on the sideline as the Greatest Show on Turf dismantled the Niners.

Still goes from the sublimely conservative Nolan who didn't seem to believe in a pass longer than 8 yards to the ridiculous; Martz who doesn't believe the ball can be run. Hmm, not sure I'd pick Gore as my fantasy back next year unless Martz sees him as the new Marshall Faulk ;)

Going on an job interview is just his way of asking his boss for a raise.

Of course it is..With two failed stints in the NFL,it'd be suicide to hire him. I'm just curious as to why any NFL owner/GM would even bring him in for an interview given his history in the NFL..

Carroll is an idiot if he leaves USC.

He already proved he's not a good NFL coach.

If Carroll is going to try to come back to the NFL, he should at least wait until something like last year's Chargers situation happens again. That was something he could have come in and win (even Norv Turner did it). Going to the Falcons is just 4 years of frustration waiting to happen. Atlanta needs a guy like Singletary...Personally,I hope he stays in the college ranks..

Well, he's a pro at personnel, and the reason he went in for this interview was because the owner of the Falcons said that he'd have full control over players/personnel decisions...all of them. This is Pete's bread and butter (besides defense and risk taking) so that's what is making it kind of attractive. But anyway, he would be an idiot to go the NFL, we love him here at USC, he is revered as a god, and he is already payed huge money. This speculation happens EVERY year, so I hope this one will be no different.

How preoccupied is Tony?? Writers must have been bored today....
BRADSHAW RIPS ROMO

Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw, who knows a thing or two about playoff football, has questioned the decision of Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo to take a trip to Mexico with Jessica Simpson on the weekend before a divisional playoff game.

"For an athlete, there's no time off . . . until it's over," Bradshaw told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "You don't take a mental break.

"If only Tony had called me and said, 'Terry, Jessica and I are going to go to Mexico,' I would've told him: 'You crazy? Don't do that! The paparazzi is going to find you, man. You're a star. She's a star. It's just going to happen.'

"Everybody in Dallas knows you played horribly when Jessica showed up [against Philadelphia]. OK, now what if you play poorly [against the Giants]? You haven't exactly lit up the place lately. I don't understand. Why set yourself up?"

Amen.

Can anyone imagine Tom Brady doing something like this? Peyton Manning? Preparation is critical for quarterbacks at the NFL level, since they're making key decisions on virtually every play. Relying on talent and instincts only takes a guy so far; to win in January, the quarterback needs to know the opponents' tendencies, schemes, and anything else that can be gleaned from studying tape.

Why not wait until after the Super Bowl to go to Mexico or wherever, with Simpson or whoever? That's when the vacation starts.

The other thing Romo needs to ask himself is why Simpson is so interested in him. Is it because he looks like a young Jim Nabors? Or because being his girlfriend is the best kind of publicity that a straight-to-DVD actress can dredge up right now?

It's too bad Bill Parcells took that job with the Fins; we'd love to hear what he'd have to say on ESPN about this one, especially the stuff that would get bleeped.

Meanwhile, Romo has put even more pressure on himself to atone for last year's bobble of a snap on a field goal attempt that prevented the Cowboys from beating the Seahawks. Though he acts like it's all no big deal on the outside, we suspect that a storm is raging on the inside -- and that he'll be pressing early in Sunday's game to make something good happen in order to prove that the trip to Mexico wasn't a distraction. And that's all the evidence we'd need to conclude that it was.
