    Hello,
I recently installed a new Logic Board into this a1278 Macbook. The previous board was damaged (over voltage, spun the Hdd and Cd but did not turn on).
The problem I am having now is that the trackpad will click on things but I get no cursor movement whatsoever. Here is what I have done so far: Replaced trackpad connector cable. Ran short diag test : passed. Ran long Diag test: passed. All connections are tight and where they should be.

Everything else works, just can't get the cursor to move. My next step is to order a new touchpad.

    anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks
