Hi so I recently purchased an '08 MP with the end of line discount and at the same time I got the Apple Store to install an Airport card and a NVIDIA 8800GT card.

The sales rep told me they would install the 8800GT as well as the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT. The genius however replaced the 2600 XT with the 8800GT.

Now for my needs I don't need dual graphics (the 8800GT is enough) but since I have it lying around, is it possible to install both and have them working together in OS X and Windows or was the sales rep mistaken?

If its possible how do I go about installing it? I have installed RAM and a HDD into this machine, is it as easy as those installations?

    Any help much appreciated.

Yeah, just pop it in. You'd better have three monitors, though, otherwise it's pointless. If you're using Vista, you can't use both, but if you're using XP or Seven, you can.
