Recently I've been getting a slight noise on occasion from my optical disc drive when my 2008 Mac Pro wakes from sleep. It sounds almost like my mac is trying to spin a disc that's not in there. Aside from being slightly worrisome and a louder wake than I'm accustomed to I don't think it's a problem, but if others might have experienced this and know of a way to stop it I would love to know.
