Due to what I suspect is a design fault, my MacBook is pretty damaged from closing the lid so much. I've got Applecare on it at the moment.

1) What exactly is AppleCare?

2) Will they help in repairing it - will it cost ?

Just to clarify: The cracks are either side of the trackpad and then where these crack meet the top of the screen when closed.

How have you managed to crack it? Do you sit on it to close the lid?

"Due to what I suspect is a design fault, my MacBook is pretty damaged from closing the lid".

UPDATE: Rang AppleCare, they said go to the nearest Apple store and they'll put a new case on. Awesome.
