no help?

once in awhile ill turn it on and the screen lights up fully. when i put it to sleep and bring it back on the right half of the backlights go out..

Did you fix the problem?

I have the same problem for the same Macbook model. Any info you can give me would be VERY appreciated.

There is no software magic or some button u can push to fix. This is 99.99999% a hardware problem. If you a lucky, some internal cables got loose and all you have to do is open it, unplug the cable(s), attempt to clean, and re-plug.

If that doesn't work, backlit and or inverter fault and need to be replaced.

If you can't DIY, this is relatively easy to fix. Wild guess usd$100 if replacement are needed.
