2009/2010 Mac Pro - Third Party Memory Compatibility

Hi all,

Going to get the Quad Mac Pro. I'm wondering if you guys have had any success with memory sticks outside of Apple/OWC with your 2009 Mac Pro's. I have read mixed results on these forums but have yet to come across a solid list of Third Party Memory that will work on the 2009/2010 Mac Pro... So to be clear... I'm looking for a list of third party DDR3 ECC 1066mhz memory that are compatible with the 2009/2010 Quad Mac Pro.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought 4x4 from Transintl. Compare $568 for 16Gb to what Apple charges..... 😱

Thanks guys. Starting to look like OWC is best way to go... I checked out the recommended manufacturers and it doesn't look too enticing compared to OWC.
